"Be true to yourself, you'll be better off" - Mr. Hermano, Free as the Morning Sun
It is a gorgeous day in LA and after a great night's sleep (I followed LifeHacker's advice and fell asleep with my iPod buds in my ears and downtempo tracks playing softly), a recommitment to organization and planning and focus and, despite recent added responsibilities and complications in my world, I'm feeling free as the morning sun.
So, out of 64 songs on my iTunes with "sun" somewhere in the title of the song, we've got ourselves a very special
- Sunshine - Antoinque
- Steal My Sunshine - Len
- Sunday - Sia
- Into the Sun - Weekend Players
- The Sun - The New Sector Movement
- Sun Will Shine - Keisha G.
- Staring at the Sun - TV on the Radio
- El Dorado Sunrise (Super Chicken) - Cee-Lo
- Sunshine to the Rain - Miri-Ben Ari
- Ibadan Sunrise - Wale Oyejide
This weekend features birthday parties, engagement parties, folks arriving from New York, and the Super Bowl. I'm going to be at a top secret super bowl party that promises to have a moon bounce.
What are you doing?
I'm gonna avoid all the sunshine, lock myself in my room and do all my reading for the week. Then, I'm going to contemplate how fun it would be to be in a moon bounce.

Hello Bloggers! I am a second year graduate student at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication in Los Angeles. For my masters thesis project, I am researching the uses and gratifications of bloggers - basically, why people go to blogs: for content gratifications (information/education/learning), social gratifications (interactions/chatting), or process gratifications (search engines/surfing).
I would really appreciate your assistance with this project. Please take a minute to check out the survey link - http://surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=73418829968. It takes less than 2 minutes! And feel free to pass it along to all the bloggers you know and/or post the link on your blogs.
Thanks so much!

Your list is great! I'd just add "Walking on the sun" by Smash Mouth to it though :-)
