My first music purchases of the new year were the two new Sia tracks released with her US album release last week. I also bought Kev Brown's album from last year which, while nice, is a little bland. I'm all for post-Premier/post-Pete Rock beatmakers but at least make it interesting. We can bang the drums a bit and dance can't we? I'm not always trying to lay in the cut and vibe.

With my tivo currently broken (i think last weekend's power outage blew out the power supply), I bought Lost and The Office on iTunes (and bought a season 1 episode of The Office as well).

Lost - Mr. Eko rules. Charlie is lame. The black cloud of smoke staring Eko down was kind of "Shark-Jumpy" but I bought it enough I guess.

The Office - The Office is the best comedy on TV. I love Arrested Development but the Office is more consistent and, I think, has better jokes and more consistent laughs. Yeah, I said it.

The Shield - Sacre Bleu! I haven't seen it yet at all. This is the evil no tivo has wrought!
